MORE INFORMATION

  • K-2SO was released in December 2016 in a Walmart exclusive 3-pack
  • The other two Star Wars figures in this set were Jyn Erso (Eadu) and Cassian Andor (Eadu)
  • K-2SO is a straight re-release of the basic carded K-2SO figure from the Rogue One Collection
  • This time however Kay-Two didn't include a grappling hook with retractable zip-line accessory
  • K-2SO is tall and stands about 1 1/2 half heads taller than a basic Star Wars action figure
  • Hasbro added a ball-joint on the bottom and on the top of the neck, this allows the droid to look into any direction (fantastic!)
  • The hip is ball-jointed, this way the stance can be widened and K-2SO can be balanced better
  • Unfortunately there is no articulation in the knees or elbows
  • The knees and the elbows are hollow where the joints are and you can see through (just like K-2SO in the movie)
  • There are no removable panels on the figure
  • The paint application on K-2SO is nicely done and matches K-2SO from Rogue One very well
  • Despite the lack of articulation, this version of K-2SO is a nice representation of the character in the 3 3/4 inch line-up of Rogue One figures

PACKAGING TEXT

A reprogrammed Imperial security droid now loyal to the Alliance, K-2SO is an alarming sight standing within a secret Rebel base. The pragmatic droid is an effective insertion agent, as he can blend in perfectly at Imperial installations and outposts.
