Astromech droid R5-K6 was part of a battlepack titled "Scramble On Yavin" in 2009. The figure was packed-in together with a Garven Dreis and a Rebel Technician figure. R5-K6 is Red Leader Garven Dreis' astromech droid, and was part of the attack on the first Death Star. The droid however was never seen in the movie and is therefore part of the expanded universe.

The droid features the astromech droid typical 5 joints (rotating dome with clicking sound, 2 legs, 2 ankles). When you rotate the droid's dome it'll move the hidden sensorscope in and out of the droid's top. Hasbro gave R5 little rolls in the feet, so he can be pushed around in your diorama. If you prefer, you can remove the middle leg, and just have the figure stand on two legs.

The paint application is well applied with a dark red body color and silver, white and black accents. All in all, it's another decent astromech droid which will make an outstanding background figure in your set up!

In their base on Yavin, the Rebel Alliance prepares to launch a direct assault upon the Empire. The busy ground crew checks the vehicles, makes repairs and adjustments, loads droids into the fighters' sockets, and shuttles equipment and people to different destinations. The air crackles with tension and anticipation. The Rebels know how much is at stake for them and the galaxy, and they focus their efforts on being ready for the battle ahead.

Take your figure and find the date stamp on it (look on the back of the thighs, bottom of the feet etc...)
If you can't find a year printed on the figure check if it has a 5 digit number printed on it, enter it below and we'll pull up all the figures in the database which has the same number.
