  • This 6" Chewbacca figure was released on May 1st, 2018 exclusively at Target stores in the United States
  • Chewbacca came with a blaster rifle and goggles
  • The goggles fit very well over Chewbacca's big head and they sit right on top of the eyes (the elastic strap works very well and you don't have to worry about ripping off)
  • The blaster rifle is a good fit for Chewie's hands, it will take some time to get him to grab it properly but it's do-able and Chewie's index finger can even be placed onto the trigger
  • This Chewbacca figure is shorter than the previous releases in Hasbro's The Black Series 6" line
  • The bandolier is removable, but Chewbacca's upper body has grooves sculpted into it where the bandolier needs to go, so removing it doesn't make much sense
  • Hasbro painted the figure very nicely, the brownish colors are lighter than on previous versions
  • The blaster rifle in particular was done very well, the paint application goes from a dark grey to a light grey in the front, the grips were painted brown to give it a wooden appearance and the weapon's forestock is movable back and forth so that Chewbacca can "load" the weapon
  • Even the muzzle on the blaster rifle was nicely detailed
  • All in all this Chewbacca Black Series figure turned out nicely and makes a great addition to any collection

A mighty Wookiee nearly two centuries old, Chewbacca has fallen upon hard times during this age of the expanding Empire.
