  • Lucasfilm, can you really not give this droid a proper name?
  • The entire set included astromech droids of R7-F5, QT-KT, Jabba's Bartender, R7-D4, R2-C2 and R2-A5
  • All the astromech droid molds used for this set are identical, Hasbro used this particular sculpt first for The Vintage Collection R2-D2 #25
  • Jabba's Bartender astromech droid can be seen on Jabba's Sail Barge in Return Of The Jedi
  • The front panel can be opened and one of the tools can be manually extended
  • Unfortunately, every astromech droid in the set reviewed here on J.B. had issues keeping the panel closed all the way

  • The drinking dispenser can be plugged into the hole in the top middle of the dome
  • The tray with the yellow glasses sits on top of the legs
  • All seven glasses are removable from the tray
  • When the sensorescope is pused into the dome, the middle leg will extend out
  • The left and right leg each have two wheels in them so that the droid can be moved around
  • A nice detail which is included on all the astromech droids in this set are the cables on the front of the feet (newer Disney Build-A-Droids don't have this detail anymore)
  • Jabba's Bartender stands well on display without any balancing issues
  • The figure was painted nicely without any factory errors or smudges on the droid

Packaging Text

There was no additional information on the box but the Entertainment Earth website had following information: Jabba's bartender was never given an official name in the books or movies, but his design may remind you of some Earth-based beverages. With his drink dispenser, seven glasses, and a tray harness, this never-before-fully-seen droid served aboard Jabba the Hutt's sail barge. Also, if you look to the shadows, you may find him in Return of the Jedi. We recommend skipping the shadows and getting one of our droids to keep on your desk and another in your Jabba's palace dioramas and playsets (sold separately).
