More Information

  • Articulation Count: 14
  • Articulation Details: Ball-jointed neck, 2 ball-jointed shoulders, 2 ball-jointed elbows, 2 swivel wrists, ball-jointed waist, 2 ball-jointed legs, 2 ball-jointed knees, 2 ball-jointed ankles;
  • Accessory Count: 4
  • Accessory Details: Blue Lightsaber, Lightsaber Hilt, Blaster, Removable Collar
  • Luke Skywalker was released individually carded
  • The figure is based on the previously released Luke Skywalker (Hoth Outfit) VC95 from the 2012 The Vintage Collection
  • For this particular figure - Hasbro was able to fix the elbow pegs and gave them them the correct color - for the first released version with the wrong elbow pegs have a look here please: Luke Skywalker Wampa Attack! (1st release - wrong colored elbow pegs)
  • This time around the figure has a slightly different paint application and Hasbro gave Luke a new head sculpt where the hat including the scarf is molded on and not removable
  • Both included lightsabers - the non-ignited hilt and the lit saber - fit well into each of the hands
  • The blaster fits well into each of the hands and quite tightly into the holster (it's almost a bit too big)
  • The figure has no balancing issues - even in more dynamic poses
  • The non-ignited lightsaber hilt plugs nicely into a hole on the left side of the figure's belt
  • Luke's removable collar plugs into a small hole in the back of Luke's neck
  • The details on the outfit appear to be all there - including the correct pouches on the belt - the (unpainted!?) communicator on the left forearm and the "Commander" insignia on the chest
  • The bloody scars from the Wampa attack in the facial area look cheap
  • Unfortunately this figure comes with a hat which has goggles on it (Luke lost his goggles during the attack)
  • Hasbro had two years to fix one of the bigger complaints from the previous release - which are the wide shoulders - but this issue wasn't addressed
  • All in all - this version of Luke Skywalker is a decent figure - but with just a little bit more attention to detail it could have been much better
