Ayy Vida Review

Ayy Vida was released during the SAGA Collection in 2003. The character was briefly seen in the background during the Outlander Club scenes where Obi-Wan and Anakin were hunting down Zam Wessel. Ayy Vida came with a bar stool and a glass, there were no weapons included. The figure has seven regular joints (no ball-joints), and lacks ankle joints and a movable waist. Because of this, it makes it difficult to pose the figure, and despite spending a lot of time trying to get Ayy to stand on her own, it was impossible to achieve this for longer than a few seconds. The paint application is done nicely, but nothing too spectacular. Overall, it's an average figure which has not been done before.

Packaging Text

The consort of local crime boss Hat Lo - the beautiful Twi'lek Ayy Vida has been tainted by the criminal underworld. She continues to look for an opportunity to escape Lo's repressive clutches. After catching the eye of a dapper Republic Guard one night at the Outlander nightclub - she hopes the guard will rescue her. Her hope is in vain for he is an imposer - one of many poseurs who frequent the clubs for their own nefarious purposes.
